accepting the challenge...maybe

Mel has posted a challenge on her blog. The challenge is to read one book a week for a year. Aaron and I had a bet similar to this a few years ago where I read 25 non-school books in one year. I always get a good start, but then I slow down as the year progresses. I just run out of good books that I want to read. My goal is to read 30 books this year. Up five from my previous contest, but less than one a week.

If I were to read a book-a-week, I would not get to the Brain Factory for work! I love to read, but I am a slow reader and fall asleep. 25 books a year is par for me. I do, however, like her challenge. I sure wish that she would encourage more children to read!
