He did the research

After hearing a news story of using ecstacy on terminally ill cancer patients in a clinical trail, Twotermslater did the research. Read his post and comment, because this is some interesting stuff!

No new posts

Hey everyone. I am going to be heading to Burlington for Christmas for a few days. I will probably just be hanging with the fam and not blogging, so try not to cry when I don't have any new posts for a few days. I'll be back in action on the 21st.

The night was looking slow, until Mr. Sheen came over.

We hung out with Charlie Sheen. Jenne and I now have one in the books together. It was another adventuresome night. Ed took us into the men's restroom and let us choose where our picture would go up. I ate at the taco stand for the first time. We ran home from the taco stand. How all good nights end...with running.

Love, life, and self esteem

Some people say that you can't help who you like.

Why do people like who they like?. I am often attracted to people that intrigue me. In other words...I like a little mystery, a little challenge. Often the men I like are a bit quirky. And usually a bit rebellious. Due to some unfortunate wiring problem in my brain, I always go for guys that are badasses. Which is highly interesting, because I am quite straight laced. We all know that I like to have a good time, but I do not participate in illegal substances. Why is it that I like these men, with whom my morals do not agree?

Tonight, a friend brought up an interesting point:
Do I not believe that a good guy could actually like me?
This led me to think...where is my self esteem? Am I attracted to these men, simply because they were attracted to me? Or do I just want to figure them out; do I like the adventure, the rush?
As usual, I rebutted with "Name 3 good guys that have liked me."

Well, the list stopped at one name.
Do I like bad men as a product of psychological conditioning?
Well, as you can see, this is a continuously unresolved issue in my life.
My head and heart can never seem to speak the same language.

Unedited Pics

Unfortunately, I can not post all my pictures on my blog, so I have set up a yahoo photos page to allow people to see all the fun I have.
Check it out if you dare!

Name dropping (better than log dropping)

My good friend Aaron finally decided that my blog was cool enough to get a mention on his blog, so I thought I'd be nice and drop his name on mine. Two Terms Later is a blog that revolves around politics, ethics, and medicine..with some humor mixed in. Mine is far from that, as you can see..Girls, they wanna have fun. So, check out Aaron's blog. And Aaron--I'll work on the naked pictures. BOL

Strummin on the old gui-tar

Charlie playing the guitar.

Tap it, Jenne, tap it

This would be how the night ended. Megan was asleep on Charlies couch, Charlie was playing the guitar, and Jenne and I were playing the drums. Let's just say...the night was interesting.

Great River Basin (recreated)

This would be how the night started. Jenne peed at the L stop on the way to the bars. Kinda reminds you of the great river basin, doesn't it?

Michael's in the house!

I'm not going to lie...Jenne looks a little bit like she's Michael Jackson in this man's hat. He refused to take a picture for us, because he was too busy eatting his wings...but when he was done, he shared his hat. Sweet leather hat.

Who shrunk Santa?

LOOK! It's a chubby munchkin Santa inside the wreath at Hawkeyes.

Girls night out

Dan(6' 6 1/2") and Ed

These men are Dan and Ed. Ed owns Hawkeyes and Dan works there. Ed used to have a mullet and that is why we like him. Dan owns an obese christmas tree and likes gyros without onions. We love Dan and Ed.

Ch-Ch-Charlie and Drew (nice sport coats!)

This is Charlie and Drew. Drew was in town for a wedding, but Charlie is definitely our new Chicago friend. In this picture I think they were either singing or pretending to be tigers. Gotta love them either way!

Ravioli-free weeks...ahhh, those were the weeks.

Today I had Spaghettios for lunch. They were delisicious. They reminded me of ravioli days at camp. Don't we all miss those??? Ummm, no!
