I had a great trip to northwest Iowa. Lots of very humorous things happened that included my grandpa, grandma, and my uncle...and of course me. I really had a fabulous time. I enjoyed being able to hear sounds other than cars and being able to smell other things in the air besides pollution.
One of the funnier things that happened was when my grandpa and I went to visit my grandma in the nursing home. Here's the conversation that transpired:
Grandpa: "Shirley, what did you have for dinner?"
Grandma: "Salsbury steak"
Grandpa: "Raspberry cake?"
Grandma: "I said salsbury steak, Keith"
Grandpa:"Oh, Raspberry cake! That sounds good."
Grandma:"Yeah"
