I for one have been suffering from a bought of cabin fever lately. A few weeks ago, we had one nice day then the weather went south again. The past few days have been absolutely gorgeous and I couldn't resist taking advantage of them. I started out my day today with a 3 mile walk. The birds were cherping...oh wait, I couldn't hear them over the clang-clang, rattle-rattle of construction equipment, cars and busses. That is the one thing I miss about Iowa...nature. However, when I got back from my walk I opened up my back patio door and could hear birds cherping from the park behind my apt. Maybe I should get one of those nature CDs and listen to it while I walk.
