Fat Tuesday

As another Lenten season approaches, I had to sit down and consider what I would give up this year. I am giving up similar things to the past few years. This year, I am giving up bread, pasta, potatoes, and regular pop. It's going to be a long 6 weeks, but I think I can make it.

I feel instead you should give up your weekend prostitution job. God would like that.

Stawojo-

I don't want to be presumptious or assume anything about you but why do you give things up during lent?? Last I checked you in fact are not a religious individual(if this is wrong please correct me) it just seems like sort of a farce that you continue to do this year after year. You don't go to church and the one time you took me to the grotto you splashed water on me and laughed. Is it for the challenge? Is it out of habit? Or maybe you really do enjoy this? If it is for the challenge or out of habit I think that may anger God even more than your prostitution job as pointed out by the previous comment. I am not attacking you, I just want to understand. Also, if you are going to give up something why do you give up multiple things is that to make god like you even more? You should have given up big league gum.---Mel
