I have always been a fan of the St. Charles, Iowa native, Greg Brunner. He plays with more heart than most other players. He came though big in tonight's Iowa vs Illini game with 2 points right before the buzzer to send the Hawks into overtime. All I can say is that the #24 ranked Iowa Hawkeyes put up a much better fight against the #1 ranked Illini than anyone expected. The Illini just barely survived Alford and the Iowa Hawkeyes.

Did I also mention that one night at the Summit, Brunner asked to share a booth with me? Well, I let him, while he waited to get his coat from coat check.
